Rajesh M Hegde is a Professor and Head of the Dept. of Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur. He currently holds the Umang Gupta Chair Position and was also the P.K. Kelkar Fellow (2009-13) at IIT Kanpur. His areas of interest include Machine Learning, AI, future wireless networks, pervasive/mobile communication, WSN, IoT, speech/audio processing for ASR and VR, multimodal information fusion. He also has considerable interest in robotics applications.. He also serves as the Head of the Center for Continuing Education (CCE) at IIT Kanpur.
